The Sweet Birdies Tournament Series is UB Hand Candy's™ way of getting our discs into the hands of players all around the world while giving the players to have a fun time throwing plastic! The basic idea is to play 18 holes with only the 3 discs that come in the players packs (Chewy Lex, Creamy Procul, and Creamy Monstrum). The person with the most birdies in 18 holes wins! The best part is bogeys and pars don't hurt your score.
We need tournament directors from all around the world to step up and help us out by running one of these events at your home course. We have it set up so that TD's don't have to worry about collecting money and at the end we pay them for running the event! Even if you have never run a tournament we are confident that this will be a good way to get your toes wet and not have the stress of a sanctioned PDGA event. So step up and hold a Sweet Birdies event in your hometown!

HOW IT WORKS:
Each player will recieve 3 UB Hand Candy™ discs, they will be allowed to use any 3 of those (but no other discs) on any of the 18 holes. Using a non UB Hand Candy™ disc would result in being disqualified from the event. Each hole that a player gets a birdie on they will be rewarded 1 point, if they get an ace they will be rewarded 2 points. The player with the highest score after 18 holes will be the winner! If there is a tie, a closest to the pin hole will be set up by the TD to determine the winner. We recommend all holes be under 300ft to give a fair playing field for new or young players. Not only are these event set up to spread the word about UB Hand Candy™, but we hope this will help spread the joy of disc golf.
